Back in the day, a single man or woman would meet someone intriguing, collect his or her phone number, then head home to pump friends, family and colleagues for information. “In the time it takes to redo your lip gloss, you can check all this stuff out,” Date Check’s promotional video touts.
And they can do it while the person of interest is, say, ordering a drink at the bar or visiting the loo.
It really sucks for guys but it just means that if you are a single guy here in Seattle, you just need to step up your game more. University of Washington - Seattle (UW) is 46% male, and 54% female. Personally, overall ratio rarely retaliative to my personal success ratio - which doesn't seem to have anything to common sense. Females seem more threatened/fearful in Seattle than any other city I've lived in and its annoying dammit.
